Kentucky Postsecondary Advising Framework (KPAF)

The Kentucky Postsecondary Advising Framework is a curriculum developed by KAA to guide students and practitioners through the types of information students need to make the most informed decisions about college and career planning.

The framework is focused assisting practitioners with the advising of middle and high school students in four areas:

For each category and grade level, the framework has postsecondary advising milestones student should meet, along with suggested activities to help them achieve these milestones. KPAF activities are linked to Futuriti where appropriate and are aligned to the individual learning plan and career studies standards.

KAA's goal, through the framework, is to both standardize and innovate advising practices, while improving student readiness and transitions to either college or career.
